Literally have cut down to ONE ticket per drawing for MM and Powerball. I just cant stand it. They have made it so impossible to win and it just takes the fun out of it.

I play my son's numbers and thats it. I usually would add a QP too but at this point I'm too mad at how theyre doing it so its just one ticket now. I'm 'mad bro' lol

I'm not sure that there even is a specific liability cap. They may have a rough idea, but what they can pay with an acceptable loss will depend on sales for the affected drawing, and what they have in reserve accounts, and probably several things I can't think of.

Suppose they actually draw 1,2,3,4,5, +7? There will be thousands of 5+0 winners, which would require a payout of billions at the usual 1 million prize value. In that case there's absolutely no question that the prize will be paid o... [ More ]

On a related note, both Mega Millions and Powerball are mum when it comes to what the exact liability cap is for lower tier prizes going para-mutuel (like California already does). Vast majority of players don't know that the lower tier prizes can be reduced (ie. $1 Million match-5 prize could become $100K) in some instances.

The Mega Millions pre- and post-tests results are not public information!!!

I sent an email to Georgia lottery asking how I could obtain Mega Millions test results. Here is the reply:

While players are allowed to view the measures that are taken to secure and protect the integrity of the drawings, some of the steps

and information collected is considered privileged and is not available to the general public. This includes any aggregated reports created for

pre-test.
