We are down to the last draw before the Target Date! I just did a little workup and I have a favorite from the leaders - 714.

So here's what I would do if I could somehow get to Maryland in the next hour. I can't, but I would play 714 straight for a dollar. If it fell tonight, I would collect and parley the entire $500 winnings into 509 in the Midday draw tomorrow as follows:

$450 straight on 509 in the Midday Draw.

$50 broken down as $10 each on each of the other combos - 059 095 590... [ More ]

This workup is pretty good so far, but it would be nice to have a little more confidence that we are on the right track. That's where the leader numbers come in. By leader numbers I mean numbers that have fallen before 509 in the past. The idea is to find numbers that synchronize with the target number (509). It is now three days to the 23rd, so we make a list of every number that ever fell three days before 509. For example, here is a chart that shows the last time that 509 fell:

What is the Look-Ahead part of the workup? There's not much to it, really. I just go back and copy out the numbers from before, in this case the numbers from April of 2013, and extend the chart out into the future. That is why I call it the Extended Workup.

So, in this case, the extended part of the chart looks like this:

Maryland Extended Workup

The regular daily reports turned up something I had overlooked in Maryland. It turns out that the current Maryland numbers are marching in synchronization with the numbers from March/April of 2013. There have already been four synchronizations. I was tempted to say that this one was probably all over, but I went ahead and did the look-ahead workup. This chart shows the four synchronizations and the look-ahead workup.
