To work in a casino in Nevada you have to have a 'Sheriffs' card.

Had the guy running tickets (over 200 ar a whack) back tp Nevada ignored the Gaming Board they would simply have yanked his card. He was a dealer at the Mrage, pretty good paying job at the time. He wasn't about to give that yp because other people didn't want to make the drive to Nipton.

This is just one example of many why residents call ot the United States of Nevada , i.e. they make their own rules.

I've got to assume that anyone who took issue with what he was doing thought he was more than the errand boy performing a task for, or on behalf of, other people who needed lottery tickets from, and perhaps there's a valid reason that they were right.

This goes back to before Primm opened. There was a guy from the Mirage going to Nipton to play tickets for a whole bunch of people, he was basically a runner.

He's show up at the lottery place with a steno pad.

He didn't dp ot for long because one day, in Nipton, he was met by some Nevada Gaming Commission folks who told him what he was doing was a no no.

Does anyone know the law about starting a lottery pool in Nevada to businesses as organizer for companies

to pool together the employees and having a service charge to drive to closest calif. outlet in Primm and buy the tickets?

and bring them back to them. Once a long time ago heard you cannot make any money off of the california lottery this way
