March 17, 2018 POWERBALL WINNING NUMBERS: 22-57-59-60-66 + POWER BALL ( 07 ) POWER PLAY x 2

There was ONE jackpot winning POWERBALL ticket for last night's drawing.

It was sold in Pennsylvania.

There were 2 - 5/5 tickets for $1 mil. One each from CA MO without the Power Play and one 5/5ticket with the Power Play from TX for $2 mil

Jackpot reset to $40 mil

Ticket sales for both games have dropped a big % the last couple of years at least. Some people have quit playing they say because of all the matrix changes. The last PB draw the estimated JP was for 420 mill and they only had 72 mill in ticket sales. I looked back to 2012 and only 1 time when an advertised JP was over 400 mill did they do less then 100 mill in sales and that was in 2016 when an advertised jp of 403 mill had 94 mill in sales. KY... the numbers that were 33 and below could represent birthdays of family born Jan 13 in 1926 and 1933 along with 5 boys and 2 girls with the most born in the 11th month.... numerous other possibilities to always ponder.

The PB has taken a definite downturn from 2 years ago when the $1.5 billion jackpot was won on the 20th draw to it being $455 Million on the 20th draw tonight...The 4 draws or more guess rwas for the MM. Your figure of 5 sounds reasonable as well...

Those two numbers that aren't on the calendar make a huge difference in the chance of a winner compared to all birthday numbers.

Just for S G, I went and looked at a few other PB jackpot runs with at least 20 draws. There are some that have significant differences as the jackpot grows towards it's conclusion..... Interesting how the temperament toward purchases creates such a sway for different times of the year. I wonder if that big PB jackpot from 2 years ago had anything to do with it being just after the holiday season ?

Your right! I was looking at a chart I didn't update yet. Sorry for the incorrect info in my prior post.

Saturday's draw (3/17) will be the 20th draw, currently for 455 million.

You bring up an interesting point of comparison between the two:

I went back and looked at the 16th draw of the BIG PB Jackpot Run - on 12-30-2015 and it was at $300 Million.

This current jackpot run as far as the 16th draw on 3-03-2018 was at $321 Million.

The benchmark stays a little off($11 Million) up through the 17th draw of both jackpots but then it goes way off from draw 18 19 20:

As for PB,

there was a winner on 1/13/2016 for a jackpot of 1.5 billion. It took 20 draws.

Right now, we are on the 19th draw with a jackpot of 455 million.

To me, that is quite a drop in popularity! Probably time for another matrix change.

Just a hunch this time....Should both roll this weekend ? Intuition is whispering they will both hit half a Billion before there is a winner.....My plan to help relieve the stress of larger jackpots for my fellow LPer's, is to win one or both of them this weekend. That way when they reset to $40 Million, all will be calm again.

The jackpots are growing, but how high do you think the jackpot will go? The media is already making big buzz on the jackpots, but I don't want to waste money if I lose due to a higher Jackpot.

Plus, my vibes haven't been very good lately, so the karma of winning a jackpot is too premature for me.
