It was $417.3 million dollars was the grand prize so the jackpot fell short by $2.7 million. I hope the drawing goes up this time and rolls when there's no winner

There was no jackpot winner in the Wednesday, March 14, 2018 Powerball drawing, but 2 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a $1,000,000 prize:

1 from South Carolina (with Power Play)

1 from Texas.

Maybe the next change to PB should be renaming it Glacier Ball in honor of it's creeping pace.

As of the 3rd rollover this run was ahead of the previous one, reaching a maximum increase over the last run of $52 million (advertised value) for the 3/3 drawing. Two weeks later it may lag behind the previous run if it doesn't see a bump for Saturday's drawing. The last one went from 384 to 440 with a final bump to 460. That makes this run's jump from 385 to 420 fairly pathetic, at less than half... [ More ]
