with you and remember spending too much when I first started playing. I question myself and ask, Am I chasing my losses .

My quick picks look bad now but when I win I will praise the computer. The lucky terminal.

Aside from simply spending toooooo much each month when I was younger (thankfully developed a proper bankroll system and better impulse management by my mid 20's), I nearly always wind up kicking myself for choosing easy/quick picks. It's not that I believe they cannot win or anything like that, but I'm such a control freak over little things in my life like that. When I look at the ticket and it's something like 01 05 06 12 24 out of a 60+ numbers pool, my brain is just like AAAUUUGHHHH.

keep seeing a number everywhere I look (329) and it happens to be my birthday so I spend the time researching the number to find out the best day to play

for May and it happened to be today......I play it in the midday wheeled for a $1 and nothing. I go to work head over the gas station to play for the evening with only a few minutes to spare only to realize that I rushed out of the house and forgot my MONEY!!!!! What comes out 293 !!!! Missed out on $500

What about when you don't bubble in enough numbers and the computer gives you a random number? It will say QP1 by the combination.

Sometime the problem I experience is selecting numbers on bet slips or play slips when I'm too tired.

Forwarding them to the lottery retailer (store clerk) only to find out some of the selections were to many numbers or not enough numbers on the play slip.

How disappointing to say the least.

Not checking my tickets is also my problem. Asked for mid and eve same number didn't know i had 2 mids until I got home. i always seem to be in a hurry when this happens. i did learn my lesson. Now I put mid on one playslip and eve on a seperate play slip

Again, I think the question can refer to anything that is lottery related.

During the last two years of my 23 years in the U.S. Air Force, I turned down a chance to learn how to write and code computer software.

I think it was ++C and Java.

Little did I suspect that I would eventually adopt reasonable lottery play as my primary means of entertainment, in lieu of booze, narcotics, movies, TV and other hobbies.

to keep a number in lottery while I was out of town for holiday. At the last

The dumbest thing I use to do a lot, and still do occasionally, is not to triple-check or even double-check my workout results before playing my numbers. Sloppy work from a lack of focus, and being a little careless can be costly. Nowadays, I generally won't play, if for whatever reason, I can't get around to re-checking my results.

I figured out how to read it when the post is in yellow is to hi-light it with my mouse and it makes it blue and hold it down long enough to read it.

I can't understand why they don't realize it is almost unreadable when they post in yellow and lots of others do it too!

I don't even know what his post means!

I will tell you the 2nd dumbest thing I did and that was trying to read MO's yellow posting. I stood up and looked down,tried to view it from the sides,put sunglasses on... I just about self detached my retina from my eye socket trying to figure out what he wrote. Then I was about to replay after almost going partially blind and WAA LAA. I've occasionally bought tickets twice, too.

For the current PB run I happened to be in a state where I can be anonymous and pay less in state tax, so I bought tickets with 3 advance plays, and a second set of numbers that I play when the jackpot gets high enough. I also got 3 advance plays for MM. Unfortunately I handed the clerk the slip with only my usual PB numbers as well as the slip with both sets and the MM slip, so I spent $6 on a ticket I didn't mean to buy. You know those nice protective sleeves that you get from the lottery that you put your slips in ? I went to the store the next day after either the PB or MM draw(forget which one it was) pull out my slip with 5 sets of chosen numbers, get the ticket, then place the ticket and the slip back in the sleeve....It's the day of the next draw and its around 8 PM, so I look on my desk where I put my tickets..NOT There ....oh crap, I forgot to get my tickets this week, off to the store I go, quickly pull... Not checking my numbers when the clerk gives them back to me. One time I was playing ALL the numbers of a Sum 7 in the 4 way (boxed) and failed to check my tickets and guess what - sum 7 came out and I DIDNT have it. If I remember right I had the winning number on a playslip which I forgot to hand the clerk!!! Missed out on $200.
