Will do. Will look at XP instructions as well. I have found that each indicator or tracking method used may work well individually. However when used together the percent of the time you get a hit goes down. For example lets say you are tracking sums, and you find the sum 12 to 15 may be ripe for a hit. Then you apply odd and even filter using only mixed numbers. When you back test you find it only hit like 20 or 30 percent of the time or less. Have you found this to be the case in most of your

I don't have Windows 7 but I was able to create a working FTP server on both a Windows XP and Windows 10 computers.

What I find difficult is not only getting ftp to work in windows 7. But I find there is no real good way to edit the games draw history. In NC they did not have 2 pick 3 or 4 per day until 2 21 2011. while I can import new data I must delete all the old history prior to 2/21/2011.

After some playing around I finally got Lotsoftpro to connect to my local FTP sever in Windows 10 64bit

This was only possible by running the MDB Viewer Plus as administrator to get the chances in the correct props.mdb

Cannot give enough thanks to Winsumloosesum for the files needed for setup and also the daily results upload.

Definitely not. It is commercial software, but comes with an envious set of features if you plan to make your server accessible over the Internet.

CrossFTP and Filezilla appear to be great options to IIS.

I remember us chatting about this quite a while ago winsumloosesum.

Glad to see the evolution from the public server to this. Your hard work does not go unnoticed.

I am on Windows 7 and used an old copy of Serv-U FTP Server and that works like a charm.

IIS is (already) available on, or can be added to most Widows 7 versions, so others should be able to get this up and running too.

After You Open Draws And Statistics For Your State

This Is For NY Midday Draws.

1-Add Draw

Make Sure The Date Is Correct

2-Enter The Result

3-Add

Do This For Each Draw Result You Want To Add In.

Then You'll Have To Do The Same For The Evening Results.

I Entered The DC Pick3 Results Manually From The 3rd Up To/Including Dec 5th.

Ran The Live Update.Checked Some Of The Other States;All Is Good.

The DC4 2156 Result For 12/5 Was Showing Up As The Evening Result For 12/5.

0100 Showed As Midday Result.

I Entered The Proper Results And Live Updated.It Fixed The Problem.

I'll Check A Few Other States To See If Everything Matches Up.

I hate it.. I used to quite a bit at work and thought it was great. When my computer crashed I never even bothered to try to replace it. When I did winsome updates it worked for me at that time. And then it reverted back to the unregistered version for some reason. Imma go read the rest of this thread.

OK. I fixed the error which was a formatting of the Washington DC Pick 3 and Pick 4 games from Wednesday 12/5/2018.

Instructions:

1 Open Lotsoft Pro and make sure the Washington D.C. Pick 3 and Pick 4 games are correct for Wednesday, December 5, 2018

2 Once the Washington D.C Pick 3 and Pick 4 games are correct click the Live Update for both Pick 3 and Pick 4.

This should fix the Live Update error.

Not sure about the Live Update data, but it looks like one of the 12/05/18 lines in the DC3.TXT file has a D.C. value that would probably raise a type mismatch error.

All Sunday Draws Were Updated(12/2)

The Same Thing Happened Twice.Once This Morning,Once Later On.

It Was On The DC Midday Draw.It Updated To Dec 4th Draw Then The Error.

Anyone else having the same problem with the Live Update for Pick 3. That is, do you receive the same error message.

LB, what is the last game that was updated before the error message?

Whatever the next game that is being updated has the problem. Could be a blank cell or missing pick 3 number. I checked my database file and could not find any missing/blank cells.

If you could send me your props.mdb file along with you p3.mdb file I can check and see where the error may be coming from.

Attention Lotsoft Users:

This applies to Pick 4 games only.

For those who use the Live Update function.

Check all the Pick 4 games. There is an error in the dates/draws starting after Saturday November 24, 2018.

You will need to delete all the Pick 4 games after Thursday, November 1, 2018. So any games that you have after this date need to be deleted.

Once all the games are deleted just run the Live Update function again. This should correct the missing dates/draws.

If there are any North Carolina users of Lot Soft. I have successfully used the import function to update NC pick 3 day and eve games. Working on pick4 at this time. The problem with NC games is that they have extra draws usually around the 3 month of the year. In excel 2007 or newer separate the D fro day and E for eve games with the if function then copy the values to a separate worksheet. then hi light or select all of the draws from 2/21/2011 and newer press f5, press special, select dot for... I have been having trouble following the updating instructions as I'm running windows 7. I do NC. The thing you half to without for in the North Carolina histories is the extra games in the past. When entering in the games if you had a green ball they used to have an extra draw which threw all of the stats off. That's why most software does not seem to work well for NC, as well as the way they arrange the draws in the history.

The most important thing to remember here is that you will need to know how to update the Excel files, transfer the Pick 3 and Pick 4 games to the FTP folder on your computer. The folder where the database text files for Pick 3 and Pick 4 are saved depends on what Windows platform your running. Windows 10, 8, 7, XP.

This is what I would recommend:

1 Go to the main Lotsoft program data folder. Normally located here C:\Program Files\INW\Lotsoft\data

2 Open the data folder and create a new folder and name the new folder Backup Data

3 Copy and paste all the .mdb files from the data folder into the Backup Data folder.

The Administrative Own Series is saved to the P3.mdb file located in the data folder.

I mentioned in a previous post I have a dedicated ftp server on my Windows XP machine where I can perform the Live Updates. I only update just my Pick 3 and Pick 4 games.

You can if you create your own ftp server on your computer.

Lotsoft Pro has a bug when importing your draws and calculating. If you create your own ftp server for just 1 Pick 4 game it should work.

Click on show draws, Highlight the one you wish to delete, Click on delete draw at the bottom.

THE 25 STEPS TO UPDATE LOTSOFT , SO I WAS INPUTING JUST A FEW STATES, BUT I

DID NOT THINK A STATE I WAS UPDATING HAD GONE THOUGH AND I UPDATED A SECOND TIME

NOW I HAVE THE DRAWS INPUTED TWICE, HOW DO I DELETE THE DRAWS AND START OVER.

Here are the widths used in Lotsoft Pro stats

width 0; 00,11,22,33,44,55,66,77,88,99

W 1; 01,12,23,34,45,56,67,78,89,90

w2; 02,35,46,68,57,13

W3; 03,14,25,36,47,58,69,

w4; 04, 15, 26, 37, 48

w5; 05,16,27,38,49,

w6; 06, 17, 28, 39,

W7; 07,18,29,

w8; 08,19

W 9; 09

As you can see, they are the difference between the numbers. I use it for Pick 4 and only when thewidth is 8,0r 9.

Currently, ILL need 8l x-X- (0787) and MD needs 9, x--x.... [ More ]
