There are odds for matching two digits in any two digit positions, one number in any position or a specified position regardless of how many bets are necessary.

All types of bets considered, the 1 in 24 might the correct answer.

That might be true if you could buy one ticket that covered box hits and doubles too.

The term overall odds usually applies to games like PB, MM, or Keno where one bet can win prizes without matching all the number. And even though each pick-3 bet is on a specific outcome, box, straight, front, back and middle pair, etc., the overall odds of winning something can still be calculated.

There is no one ticket bet for a box pair or picking one digit in one digit position or in any digit position, but because those bets can be made by multiple bets so they are part the overall odds... [ More ]

Suffering from brain fog, I am working with root sums of which the average is 1 in 10 for selecting

the correct root and the average number of sets for each root sun is 24.1758. Still I need the odds

for the overall 3-way 6-way combined. I am thinking it's 1 in 220.
