A few years ago when an Indiana lottery security guard sent his friends to a certain town to buyout a certain game, he knew the jackpot winning ticket was in a certain town in a certain store. Players buying their tickets at any other stores at any other time didn't change that fact.

One interpretation of the butterfly effect posits that everything that ever happened may be crucial to every future event because even the tiniest change alters the future. Of course none of that will help you win a jackpot. Either everything aligns or it doesn't.

Curous22, There is a video on YouTube named, The Ticket. It is a full-length documentary film.

7's and 11's Dennis Sanfilipo is in the last part of the documentary.

On March 7, 1992, Dennis bought 11 tickets at exactly 11 p.m. The next day he won $32 million.

In another part of Dennis' story, he tells how he asked the cashier to wait until the clock turned onto 11:00 p.m. Then make the transaction.
