First of all - you can never change the odds in any given game as it is a mathematical formula based on the number of balls used in that game.

Second of all - even thou you cannot change the odds of winning, you can improve your chances of winning by looking at the past history.

Example - IL Lucky Day lotto a pick 5 game based on a matrix of 45 balls. To date, there have been 2,784 drawings. 37% or 1,042 of the drawings have had 4 out 5 numbers hitting more than once. There are combination... [ More ]

Gotta go with the majorities on this one, especially regarding Stack's last statement about the large matrix. With such a numerical range, no matter how many tickets the player purchases, it's still not even a vapor in the bucket let alone a drop. Pure, unadulterated luck is what will prevail in the event of any major matches with either of the games. The small games such as Pick3/4 are totally different, though. Dealing with a simple 0-9 range makes it much easier to match for the win...if play... [ More ]

Buying one ticket changes nothing, but multiple ticket gives players more chances to win and some say two tickets reduce the odds in half as if some of the other292,201,336 combos magically disappear. Conditional bets like abbreviated wheels give win guarantees, but there is that pesky if .

The large matrix and the terrible secondary PB and MM payoffs makes playing abbreviated wheels almost useless.

All conditional bets lower the odds but only when part or all of the conditions are met. The odds of the popular 5/39 games are 575,757 to 1 and payoffs are usually $100,000 for a $1 bet. It's a long shot at 914 to 1, but a player could use 3 numbers pairing the other 36 numbers on 18 lines or they could play all the possible two number combos on 1260 lines. The latter bet guarantees winning the jackpot while the former only guarantees having two 4 number matches by matching all three of their n... [ More ]

Nice try, but doing this does not change the probability of winning at all. There's nothing wrong with a different or fun way of picking numbers, as long as you understand that you are not changing the odds, because you can't change the odds.

I'm only suggesting to make it easier for the terminal to generate winning numbers. Instead of 5 from 69 4 from 68 or 3 from 67. Because your not going to guess 5 and the machine isn't going to match 5 without tremendous luck. I even admitted at the end of the post that this doesn't ACTUALLY increase odds but I find myself guessing 2 numbers consistently. So what I'm saying is to maybe employ this strategy if you find yourself accurately guessing 1 or 2 numbers in the combination. Because I feel... [ More ]

Of course odds are not actually increased however assuming You accurately Guess one or more numbers.I would only guess 1 to 2 .

Did you know that if you select just one number from the terminal before allowing the computer to randomly generate your odds jump from one in over 11,200,000 to 814,000 .....That is false unless you get lucky....(Please look above

Did you know that if you select just one number from the terminal before allowing the computer to randomly generate your odds jump from one in over 11,200,000 to 814,000 . Two numbers? One in just 47,000. Three numbers one in 2100. This is not uncommon for people to guess three numbers especially not two. I myself Have done it many times.of course I'm talking about the particular machine that allows you to randomly generate numbers that remain after you select up to four. Think about it if you c... [ More ]
