Cj360100 you would not be able to spend $2000 on one number straight because they have a cutoff. Even in pick 3 and pick 4 they have cutoffs that limit what you can spend on one number. Now I don't know what the cutoff would be on Pick 5 but I'm sure it wouldn't be anywhere close to $100 million.

Good Luck, Chris

Cj360100,

Just a hint, you need to be a little more specific about that game you're talking about.

I'm taking it that you are in Georgia asnd yes, Georgia has a Pick 5 that is an 'extended' Pick 4 (one more digit) but not all states have that.

In most stated the Pick 5 is a jackpot game with a matrix such as 5/30, 5. 39. 5/45, etc......

Click on results, go state by state for the Pick 5 games (various names, Fantasy 5, Lucky Day Lotto, etc...) and then click on Game Information.... [ More ]

Let's say some goon like me has the nerve to spend an entire paycheck of $2000 on 00000, hypothetically of course. Do you think that it's even remotely possible that the number would be drawn? I don't, not buying it at all.

Of course there's a 1 in 100,000 chance if the game was legit but that's not what I'm asking. I know it's a large bet but are they really going to pay out $100 million pre taxes? The winning numbers are at their discretion completely. At least with the jackpot games we are... [ More ]
