Going to recommend/predict (and play) my 6 lines for today's California Fantasy5 before I stop for the next seven days

as I'm going to be keeping track of four different sets of blocks to see how they perform under the 6 and 8 line format.

I'll post the results on the last day of the month to see if there were any 4/5 and then proceed to

No problem.

I'm considering adding prediction lines for other state pick5's just as a way to see which one gives a 4/5 result first. As soon as I get another day off or a whole week I'll be looking through what every state has to offer and hone in on what changes I can make to my stratagem here in the California lotto.

Drawing seven numbers from a field of 01-31, which I'm not familiar with (or the rules and different ways of winning), here in California we have the basics, and because it's seven numbers drawn I would assume repeats are common so I would personally go with the following set up. Basically number placing after a draw like here the lines I played are from Left to Right

If it just so happens that all five numbers had appeared when it comes time to reposition them they should look like this Rather than just switching the positions of the numbers that were drawn with each other.

Line 1: xx-38-39-15-26

Line 2: 33-xx-xx-31-xx

Line 3: 36-12-13-20-28

Line 4: 22-21-19-xx-29

Nothing on the Six line set up though. I just threw in those last four lines on the last minute before I headed out to town and almost didn't because I stick to using 30 but now with this one I can play both 6 and the 8 line sets tomorrow.

Tutorial for Pick5 Splitting All Numbers

Just as the numbers appear (California Fantasy 5) on the slip. Jot them down on a piece of paper or on your wordpad:

*01-02-03-*04

05-*06-*07-08

*09-10-*11-12

13-*14-15-*16

*17-*18-19-20

21-22-*23-*24

*25-26-*27-28

29-*30-31-*32

33-*34-*35-36

*37-38-39-*01

Note that:

A) 01 appears twice because as of today it is the most overdue number.

I see what you mean and yes I'll admit it's potentially a handicap for jackpots (especially when repeats are prevalent) and I do realize that even if three or four numbers appear on one block of numbers it doesn't guarantee they will be on the same line. At the same time I also like using it because I hoard Freeplays and in the last two weeks I've won at least one free play (and one additional 3/5) in 11 of the last 14 draws.

The only problem I see when splitting the field is the odds of getting all the winning numbers on one side of the split or the other is exactly the same as the draw coming up all odd or all even or all low or all high, which is like one percent of the draws.

I got a 3/5 on the second line I recommended (almost a 4/5 as the #24 appeared on the third line of the first block) for 5/19's draw and my new number placements are up for tomorrow's draw of California Fantasy5 including 4 lines of the alternate set I use. At the moment I can only post 10 lines.

I tend to sacrifice leaving out the most recent numbers when using 30 of the numbers but will often play all of them on California Fantasy 5 by using the most overdue number twice to fill up the 40th spot. I have a pattern of splitting the numbers into two blocks in a way that seems to satiate the random by limiting consecutive(s) and after a month or so I slide/shift the the pattern down and re-split them to get two new blocks of 20 numbers.
