Zombie car and within the price range, that would turn some heads. Only sixties convertibles in the range I seem to find are rag tops that look like raccoons gave birth on the seats then ate the the seats.

Hey, when you arrive somewhere you have to arrive in something, what would you prefer it be? 80's Porsche, bus, Schwinn or afoot?

You don't see many cars with those couch like bench seats anymore, I'm tired of bucket seats, 60/40 is nice, but sitting in traffic ?

You want comfort at 1/10th the price. Maybe a Red 63 Coupe Deville Convertible until it rains.

I'm not sure if one could be had for $10K or less but I'll say a Plymouth GTX or a Dodge Super Bee. The GTX was a very plain looking square box that could really move.

OR

A German Ford Taunus, that's Taunus not Taurus. GI's in Germany would buy them, drive them for their time there and when leaving sell it to someone just getting stationed there. Nothing happened to those cars, they just kept going and going and going.

Bob....... I would have to go with a 1985 Olds 442.... Which I had for 27 years. Bought it used from a friend after it was 10 months old... Limited production with about 3000 of them made. You don't see them much.
