Coin Toss, I would say that he worked for those previous millions. The jackpot was dropped into his lap. There must be some truth to the warnings given by the Ancient Greeks and the Bible.

I have thought of another reply to a request for my lottery winnings. Did you play the lottery?

If the answer is Yes then I will wish him/her good luck in the future. If the answer is No then I will say, Stop spending my money .

Coin Toss, Here in CA I will have six weeks to make my plans of what to do after I get my check.

I guess I will have to explain to the masses that I do not have the money. I will think about all the options open to me.

Most people are stuck and held back from traveling because of the possessions they own. Family requirements. Plus more.

Life on the road may be the answer for me. Amtrak, cruise ships, buses, airlines, car.

Coin Toss, I do not know how things went for Bunky. I will have to find out. Somehow.

I am just talking about the general population who lead busy lives and are pre-occupied with jobs, family, weekends, vacations, children's sports and activities. They see the jackpots at $300 million or above and they buy quick picks.

I do remember that Bunky worked with a singer and she said that he tried to control her.

In a previous post you mentioned no one would remember a winner's name, etc...after six months. I'm not so sure about that.Just my $.02

Bunky is like many lottery winners. He is a unique individual with his own problems. I grant you that he was silly in his interview. I hope that he hired a financial adviser and a money manager to say NO to all who request money from him.

Elderly winners must remember that young people have the advantage of the time to recover from bad decisions while you do not have that

Coin Toss, At least that jackpot winner from New Mexico is still alive. I do agree that a press conference is flashing the cash. Californians will wait for six weeks to get their check. By that time no one remembers the winner's name, address, etc...

When you are planning on doing the media availability keep it silly and know that you will be forgotten. The next news cycle will help you do that.

Don't flash your cash in public.

The reasons why I will do the media availability are I will present a rosy worldview with sunshine, rainbows, puppies and kittens. I will be showing a warm body with the correct forms to claim. I will promote Lottery Post and USAMEGA after contacting Todd.

This will be a silly interview. I will encourage the press to ask long-winded questions which will burn up some of the five minutes allocated. Silly questions will draw silly answers.
