I pulled the recent top payouts for the three games and generated the following table. Looks like powerball is a great ripoff. Megamillions is a close second. I concluded based on the returns that one might be better off playing the Illinois lotto or Luck Day if resident in illinois

Powerball and Megamillions seem to be games one plays for the dreaming value
