Top toolbar inserts a new line 20

Bottom toolbar deletes data from line 20

Yes I realize that butt we what to just put the number in

and it will automatic put it in decending order without highlighting it...

just a click and it will do it...

dont know to much about a macro butt maybe have to have one???

or is there a formula???

Your database is in decending date order and you want to update the database with new drawing results and maintain the current decending date format.

Bob your request is vague. I have read it a couple times. 1. are you adding something to an existing number? or 2. are you making space for a new number?

winsum's response will let you add

if you want to add space then a couple of options. do you want the whole line or just a few cells

whole line (row) goto the far left of the line (row) where you want to insert space. right click insert and follow the prompts

a few cells highlite the cells you want right click the cells you want ins... [ More ]

You can use the mod formula.

For example:

=MOD(E2+5,10)

So for example,

If you have 2 in cell A1, 3 in cell B1, 5 in cell C1 your formulas in cell D1, E1, and F1 would be as follows:

Cell D1

=MOD(A1+2,10)

Cell E1:

=MOD(B1+5,10)

Cell F1:

=MOD(C1+0,10

need formula for

adding a 3 digit number

to a list of other 3 digit

numbers..

where a new 3 digit number

is added to the group of

numbers that are already

in a row...A row is 1000 3 digit numbers..

each number is in seperate cells..

example ::

ADD NUMBER 250

number to be added above the 235

NOT good with macro's
