Have you noticed the results on the terminals this week? Stopped at the store yesterday at 4pm and they were still showing the Midday results from Tuesday. Stopped in today same time, they were still showing yesterdays Midday results. I already know yesterdays, I want today's.

As I said before, why did they cut away from the lottery drawings for a station promo? They never did that before. (during the drawings) They've run the same promo often enough, (for years). Everyone has seen it plenty of times. There was no need to do it then. I watched it. This was no smooth cut in. It was sudden and abrupt and impromptu. It was intentional. Something definitely went wrong that they didn't want anyone to see. Why else would they do it? If you saw it, you tell me.

They only do the drawings on MeTV on Saturdays for the Midday. But, that's only when WBAL News is on the channel guide for 12:00pm. It isn't always there. If it isn't, then we're SOL.

They don't have the Sunday eve drawings until around 8:22 give or take a couple minutes. Whatever is on has to go to a commercial break and then they will have the drawings.

However, now that the football season is here they will most likely just flash the numbers on the bottom of the screen. But don't look away, or you'll miss them. That's what they did last year.

Also, don't forget they are now using the purple balls on both the Friday drawings.

The question still is; Once the lottery's opening jingle started, why did they immediately cut right to the station promos instead of showing the drawings? Something happened that they didn't want the public to see. It was the same way with the July 30 eve drawing when they left the test sign hanging on the Pick 4 machine. That drawing video got pulled from their website real quick. It's not there.... [ More ]

They don't show the drawings on WBAL, channel 11, because of the kids shows, BUT they broadcast the WBAL 12:00 news, which does show the drawings, on MeTV channel 208 on Comcast. The midday drawings are the same time as any other midday drawing.

they are not supposed to have live drawings middays on Saturdays because of some fcc rule that forbids them from showing gambling content while children show are on the air

I'm really not sure just what to surmise on this to be honest with you. The Lottery Post Report Card rates Maryland with a 'Grade A' on their efforts with mechanical draws and all but, maybe the skepticism lies within with the OPERATORS of the lottery. I just saw where on the Connecticut Pick 3, the combo 9-9-9 was drawn TWIN IN A ROW and Connecticut is rated as 'A+' on the Lottery Report Card. You may remember when Md. Lottery left a test sign on the Pick 4 drawings last month.

Well they did something funny today too on the midday. Normally their jingle comes on, they show the Pick 3 drawing, then they mention something about another lottery game, (keno, scratchers, etc) to give them time to move over to the other machine.
