Seeing as I neither sell anything, spend anything or win anything I have nothing to gain and nothing to loose from telling the truth of what I am doing.

Seems that the insistence of people to want proof may be based on bad past experiences with claims of success by others.

Hence TB and others requirement for proof .

Once I have a high degree of confidence in my method and start spending money I will post up my wins vs. losses. And then

I agree, there is no need for proof if you are not selling anything. Just a simple self-reported accounting will do:

A = dollars spent buying tickets

B = dollars won in winning tickets

B-A = profit

I think System Proof is a great idea.

People or software or books or business' who make such claims of a system that works should be required to prove their system, with one clarification...

If they are expecting others to pay for their systems.

As a casual number cruncher who simply wants to share what I have found and as I am not asking for anything from anyone there is absolutely NO onus of proof required on my part unless I so decide to share it.

I don't believe that I've claimed to be winning more than I lose.

I'm ahead in the Daily 4 game, having won about $8,000+ the past few years, but, overall, I'm a net loser like just about everyone else that I know of.

For me, playing the lottery is entertainment.

Most already post at least 50 straight/box predictions hoping nobody will notice box wins loose lose $10. Just a guess but I doubt most of the system predictors want people to see their losing predictions.

Correct within your range of experience and understanding.

I do not doubt that others like myself have found ways to enhance their odds.

Granted for some it may only reap a seasonal result and then move along, thereby offing only short term consistency.

I can promise you that I will not buy any lottery tickets based on that, because 1) I would have to drive to California to do so (which I am not going to do) and 2) all systems are meaningless so even if lottery tickets were sold a block away I still wouldn't buy them.

No one needs to prove anything about their system, but for people that want to demonstrate that their system works without worrying about splitting their prizes, maybe they could post their picks in a thread/reply (not in the Prediction Board) after the draw closes but before the winning numbers are drawn. Then someone quotes their post (before the winning numbers are drawn) to document the original picks.

I actually agree with TB but am not at a place where I want to divulge this or have the time to argue the toss about it with sceptics.

I get why people want it, but I don't think I'll shout winning numbers from the roof top any time soon.

I know where I'm at and the accuracy or otherwise of what I am doing, i have a plan in place and all going well it will bear fruit.

Proof of a winning system is posting your prediction before the drawing occurs. If you post a picture of a winning ticket, which is naturally after the drawing occurs, it means nothing other than the fact that you were very lucky and won, which is great of course, but it does not prove a winning system.

IMHO, FWIW

No man or machine can accurately and consistently know repeat know what the next winning arrangement will be.

Educated guesswork is the only weapon we have in the battle to win more than we lose.

It's obvious that some lottery gamblers have found ways to win, but, I seriously doubt that anyone is a consistent winner to the extent that keeping a financial record is necessary.

If you find yourself just adding more and more numbers to your list because you're thinking, maybe this or maybe that, or this might, that might, then it's time to sit that draw out because you're not using your head, you're just playing to play. Hey thanks for the creds and i must say i admire your signature but that last part of it.. If i ever do get this game figured out we all will make money. Think about just that part, if you did send it viral your winning system that is, it would cause the lotteries to implement counter measures from a drop in proceeds. Until Then Bury the Boxes. Every time you Run a Test, Calculate you win/loss, Put 1% of a loss in a Jar. Take 1% of your win out. Bury the Box when you get to 38K. But I have done this already and am improving on it every week, I can predict 5 to 6 winning numbers consistently from a pool of between 12 to 20 in a game of 6/45.

Trying to find consistence or certainty in prediction is not going to happen!. The only option is to take a risk based on one's waging strategy. Let's say my budget for a month for my game of choice(P4 for example) is $50, then based on prize structure I should not have more than 4 picks to wage for a selected time frame(5 or 10 draws).

Yes it would take a fair whack of cash to finance my system, hence I don't and wont until I'm 100% certain of the process and outcomes. Which as you pointed out may never come to be, so I keep testing and checking to see if I can further refine and improve it.

If I were to do what you suggest, I would begin by putting the $9.99 that you just gave everyone in a jar. The only problem for me is that I rarely play for real. I am not ready yet, so at the moment, keeping track of and actually putting $ somewhere seems like an unnecessary bunch of hard work.

Actually that was hilarious and not out of what I suggest players do that want the feel of playing everyday but then they lose money and complain about it. My suggestion is to put the amount of money you would have spent in a glass bottle ...write the numbers down that you would have played and at draw time IF your numbers come out break the bottle and that is your win.
