Yeah, why bother spending a little bit of time and money to protect your assets and avoid probate with a trust if you've only got 50 or 75 million bucks

Call around and get quotes on how much a Trust and Asset Attorney will charge. You will also be interviewing the Attorney if other needs appear in the future. The Attorney will be interviewing you as well.

Here in California we are urged and pushed to avoid Probate. A Will has to go through probate.

For a bare-bones trust fund, you only need to fill out a few pages of legal documentation and pay a fee to a bank that offers trust accounts. The cheapest accounts require just a couple hundred dollars in fees and less than $100 as an initial deposit.

I am just curious at what dollar figure you would consider collecting a jackpot win via a Trust.

I was thinking around the $3-4 Million mark
