Lotto math is adding the digits where you DO NOT carry your numbers... example.... 9+2 = 1 in lotto math.... 11 in real math.... no carrying.

Here is a fix for my original posted formula. This should work properly now. Make sure to format the cells for a leading 0 for numbers 10.

K2: =(MOD((MOD($J2,100)-MOD($J2,10))/10+2,10)*10)+MOD(MOD($J2,10)+2,10)

L2: =(MOD((MOD($J2,100)-MOD($J2,10))/10-2,10)*10)+MOD(MOD($J2,10)-2,10

To subtract 2 digit numbers, the same concept apply, just use - instead of +

=mod(left($J$2)-left($j$3)),10) mod(right($j$2)-right($j$3)),10

To add 2 digit numbers from cell j2 and j3, type this formula in any cell you want. The answer is in lotto math.

=MOD(LEFT($J$2)+(LEFT($J$3)),10) MOD(RIGHT($J$2)+(RIGHT($J$3)),10

I am not sure how this works..

if i have the number 450

45 in cell j2,

05 in cell j3

04 cell j4 and I add 22 whats the formula I can put into cells K2, K3, K4?

Same cells now I want to subtract -22 from each, whats the formula I can put into cells L2, L3, and L4 for this?

I tiried the =right formula but it just kept giving me the 22 not the pairs added or subtracted.

do I have to have the +22 and -22 in cells too?

I do not know much about Excel... sorry.

When adding 2 Digit numbers you can try the same equation with a 2 after the comma.

=right(A1+B1,1)*1

Gives you the right digit of any sum. You can put as much inside the parenthesis in front of the comma as you want.

I am doing some experimenting and looking for some help with lotto math in excel

What formula would i use to add +22 as well as -22 to a pair that gives me the answer in lotto math not regular math.

Example:

89 + 22 = 01 in Lotto math Not 111 in regular math.

Same thing for subtracting

12 - 22 = 90 in lotto math not -10

Can someone please formulate these two for me?
