Just curious

I remember a Redskins Monday night game, the O/U on the game was 41 1/2.

Just over 2:00 left, Redskins have the ball inside the other teams' 20. Score is 38-3.

One announcer said, I wonder why the Redskins aren't even trying to score. The other one said, Oh I think I might know why . Surprising that they aired it.

Now I'm wondering if some sports book or a lot of sports books were trying to keep a 'balanced book' on the SB and had a lopsided amount of New England bets and the article about the 'mystery man' was in fact fake news.

just a thought.

The real money to be made in betting sports is on baseball, no point spread and the underdog often wins.

People would rather bet pre season football with 80 man rosters then in season baseball games, go figure.

Of course it s scripted; by all the coaches. Look I m a baseball fan 100%. Football has always been around since I can remember, it s not a thrilling game to me, but it has its moments I suppose. It s what Americans love; although I m a little confused as to why. Most sports are not understood by mostly everybody, because no one really understands the way the games are supposed to be played. That s why we have coaches, that s why coaches get fired. It s also why people complain about sports.

That bet makes no sense to me. The amount bet, the amount won. If I had that I would certainly wonder of other ways to make more, a lot more. Makes me wonder where that money is coming from. Anyways, I m betting on my Swedish meatballs to come out perfectly

This article says a 'mystery man' bet $3.8M on the Rams. He bet them at +120, that means every $100 wins $120, but they have to win, no point spread. That's called a money line bet.

Yes, I still look on here and search once in a while and see what is happening with the big jackpot games.

As my sig lines showed for one, at least, my Superbowl pic is correct as I mentioned.

The over/under is 57-58 points. I am going with over.
