If 0 1 8 9 is out 12-18 draws, a triple could be due. I use this strategy along with a few other systems.

I did some back-testing and it's kind of a love/hate thing. If 0 1 8 9 combo hits, a triple tends to hit within 2 days if it's going to hit.
