Each state should pledge a percentage of their money to roll in the current PB jackpot. For example Florida is due $1,000,000 in sales for their contribution to 1.5B. $100,000 or 10% is held back to be add to the PB current jackpot. Each state adds 10% of their share. That will bump the current jackpot.

The other 90% the states can do what they have outlined in their rules on unclaimed funds, i.e. special promotions, education funding, health care etc.

The money goes back to the states.......at least some of it should go into the state's highest jackpot game.

This is the USA, that is way too reasonable and logical for this third world hell hole to ever implement. Also the 1.5B is the Annuity, there's only 800 something million in the pot.

This explains where 100 % the unclaimed prize money that is generated, goes to.

Looking at the funds generated from unclaimed revenue from 2016 2017 (approx $25.5 Million) by your process, we would have to have at least 26 of the 1500 tickets that would make up the difference.

I think if the $1.5B is unclaimed the money should be setup for a special guaranteed payout draw.

Every ticket sold comes with a unique serial number/identification number and those numbers could be used for the draw

They could do the draw and randomly select 1,500 tickets with a guaranteed prize of $1,000,000

Or they could randomly select 150 tickets with a guaranteed prize of $10,000,000

or even 15 tickets with a guaranteed prize of $100,000,000

Either way they do it, the money
