Before everything went electronic the casinos really did have 'eyes in the rug'.

They just hung round and let the bosses know if anyone wasn't acting right.

Eye in the Rug heh?, remember bug eyes in game area statues and decorations but not in the rugs (unless under a wig?)

Perhaps bug in the rug worked for cheating under tables.... LoL

Seriously, rarely are cheaters going to get far or wealthy long term.

One night we had a guy tell our pit boss, I didn't do anything you can get me arrested for.

The guy cheated and thought no one saw him.........but an 'eye in the rug' did.

(Gaming control was already in the casino) and the pit boss said, There's a law in Nevada called 'defrauding an innkeeper and that's what you're getting arrested for.
