Thanks for the responses. Florida Lottery sent me my check for $4.

Now I am up to four States where I have cashed winning tickets mistakenly thrown away by their purchasers: Florida, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

Yes via mail. When I first started playing the lotto I was an idiot and thought you had to mail all your wins the lottery address instead of cashing them in at the store. Getting checks in the mail for a few dollars a few times until a store clerk told me I didn't have to lol.

Its only a $4 winner and unlike Pennsylvania I am not aware of any convenient way of confirming it is a winner not already cashed. What I do know is that it is an unsigned $1 Heads or Tails ticket which I understand is still being sold in Florida.

Any help would be appreciated regarding:

1. Is there a phone app available from Florida to confirm its an uncashed winner?

2. Short of visiting Florida - not likely anytime soon - how can I cash a $4 winner
