The quads and triples are for a total 21,080 drawings after tonight.

Just a simple misunderstanding; no harm done.

I was posting when TN first went to computer drawings and the programmer didn't know any digit could appear in any of the three or four digit position. So I thought maybe that's where you were going.

They are programming the computer otherwise Triple 666 could have fell on any other day of the week, but it falls on 4/13/18 Friday the 13thsince the life of the lottery (2004).

Please accept my apology. TN is not playing the game!

TN has drawn over 11, 800.. drawings or more and we have only had 4 quads

on a computerized system not the ball system with 3 drawings a day.

I thought this had the makings for an interesting discussion because all of TN Lottery games are Computer RNG drawn and maybe the idea is to compare those number games drawings with live ball drawing states.

IMO, TN should get an F on LP's report card because the only live ball drawings they use are for multi-state games. But should get at least a B on the number of quads and triples their lottery produces if that the criteria for grading.

And that's why I wondered what method you're using to grade state lottery game results in general.

Why is there always someone trying to make a person look stupid just to make themselves look smarter.

You know the probability of quads hitting is 1 per 1000 drawings. If Lottery X had 4 quads hitting over a period that had 2000 drawings, and Lottery Y had 5 quads hitting over a period that had 10000 drawings, then Lottery X would be over-hitting and Lottery Y would be under-hitting. Even though Lottery Y's raw numbers are higher, it's the ratio that counts.

Bet you didn't know there were 5186 evening drawings since April 18, 2005. Doing the math, 4 quads is slightly more than what should be expected. As for triples , 108 is almost twice as much as probability.

I'm more interested in the method you use to grade random drawings

Let me rate My state of Tennessee first.

Quads - F grade

1111 -1

2222 -1

3333 -1

6666 -1

Total 4 times since April 18, 2005 to present

Triples -C+ grade

Total 108 since March 1, 2004 to present

Please, let me know how your state compares to Tennessee.
