Hi all

I had some time today and think I have the DMP-MG program ready, just making a few last minute

test. Look for it Saturday if everything goes right. It looks like it's going to be better than expected

and I added a couple tools that some will find useful. I will try to get a quick-start video made and

once it's finished I will upload the program. The plan is to start another topic as this one is for the

DMP-BG tool and I don't want people getting them mixed up.

Winsum sent me the databases but I have to do some more work on it before it's ready.

I added the option to load any number game but there are a few drawbacks in doing so.

First, the Menu-2 tools are gone and it only saves the users settings from the last game

loaded. A couple other options may be removed or replaced, I can't say for sure at this

time..

I named the new version DMP-MG for multi-game. I can't say exactly when I will have it

I have been rethinking a few things and may be able to add one pick-5 and one pick-6 game option.

The games file name will have to be static so for instance, the user would need to select the database

they want to play then rename it using a pre-programmed name.

What I am looking into is adding code that will open the database and then through a short search of

the entries within, configure the program to work with that matrix. This would only require 4 lines in

the configuration

I am still considering adding two fixed database options, one pick-5 and one pick-6.

I dug around in the code to check what could be done to add other games to the program.

Bad news first. I would need to remove all the menu-2 options. For most I don't think it

this would be a problem. To leave them in place would require major code updates adding

the ability to create, configure, and save entries for each game the first time it's loaded. It's

not that hard if starting from scratch but to add it into an existing program is major.

think one major drawback is the size of the programs window, 1188*738 is big. When I use it I have to

set my taskbar to auto hide or it covers the lower part of the program window. I have a 32 monitor but

the highest resolution is 1360*768 so there's no work around other than the auto hide.

I got to thinking and if there's enough interest in this old program I may have figured out a simple

way to allow other games to be loaded but the list would be short. Here is what I was thinking.

What if I added something like 3ea pick-5 and 3ea pick-6 generic matrix to the games. The user

would have to come up with the databases on their own and the live update would only work for

the big games, ie, MM and PB.

The program can handle any game matrix up to a pick-6 of 99 with 1 bonus ball number.

Way back I had several beta testers and each of them got custom versions that allowed

them to use it for their state games. The big game version was intended as a PB and MM

version only. There were several reasons for this and I will explain a few here.

With each passing day I've been getting more and more experience using this program. I think I could share a bit more now than I did at that time. Time permitting I should be able to make a new video focusing on steps mostly. Knowing how to handle it will give user more choices as then they can either use DMP for pick-5 games or T-lex for pick-6 games as as far as I can remember you can build any database in it. No... Adam has a Digit Master program for his 5/xx and 6/xx game. Unfortunately DMP-BG can only be used for 5/70 and below using custom settings.

DMP-BG main purpose is for the MegaMillions and Powerball games.

Maybe I made a mistake in uploading the video but thought it would help from Adams perspective on how he sets his filters.

Also, maybe I should not have informed the masses that we can create new databases....

When using smaller databases in DMP-BG like a 5-39 here is another tip. When adding the bonus number

always use the first number of the set. First of all the first number in the set will almost always be lower

than max bonus number and second, you can use the bonus-ball analysis in kind of a second analysis for

the first number. This only applies to games that don't have a bonus number.

I just now finished watching your video 1. Lot of information for people new to DMP-BG.

When I wrote the data export for most of RL's tools(like the one in google drive) for DMP-BG also, I exported it with good format but did not consider the games other than PB and MM(as the game supported only two fixed matrixes).

With your instructions I got to know that it can be used for other games with matrixes(with/without bb) that have balls till 69/70.

Here are the draw files that I created from draw files from New Mexico Official site(PB/MM/LA), Lucky for life official site(LL) and Nebraska official site for Pick 5(NE). These are the games I track.

1 In Games folder create new folders and name the folders with the name of the game. For example create a folder and name it NewMexico5xx, then save your new database text files into this folder and make sure the file name is either MM570.TXT or PB569.TXT

For the DMP-BG databases there needs to be the 3-letter day code + 2 blank spaces then

the 8 space mm/dd/yy code then 3 blank spaces then the numbers, zero-padded single spaced.

The day and date codes are important because the live update uses these to calculate which

games to updated.

How to use Digit Master Pro - Big Game AKA DMP-BG for Pick 5 lotteries.

Storage space was not the problem at least for me, I have written close to a thousand lottery

tools over the last 30 years, some were very small apps and others were full systems. I try to

name stuff according to it's function but I ran out of names to name them. This led to having

sometimes having several tools all with the same name. It was just too hard to keep things

straight so I picked out the stuff that I thought someday I might revisit and deleted the rest.

I think the best way to use it these days would be to generate your lines using newer tools and then

use the R-F-M, run file mode, to reduce. This program was before I started using arrays to process

data so some processes can take some time to run. I think there are 55 filters total so there is no

lack in that department.

The things I see missing are older videos from 2010 to 2015 released by RL, Winsumloosesum, adamcustom and notmyday.

It's hard to keep those huge videos. Nowadays storage is cheaper like some portable 2 TB SSD are 100$. And 5TB external HDD are 120$ 4 TB portable HDD are 100$

I wish some people have archived those shared videos.

The games are really really big ones, but if you dedicate some time to learning how the steps work you can hit if not all positions then quite some of them.

I'm one of those poor souls who still use DMP to play my games. Not those big ones but 6/49 is not a tiny one either.
