It works exactly like Microsoft Word press Ctrl+Enter to insert a br tag (single line break, as opposed to a regular Enter press, which ends the paragraph).

I wish there were a similar button for adding a Line Break, the BR tag. As it stands now, I do this manually by entering the Source Code mode, removing the /p and the following p tags and adding the br / tag in their place.
