If your goal is to narrow the window it makes more sense to concentrate on the second and fourth number in a 5/39.

With a pair 5, 23 you have N1, 5, N3, 23, N5.

N1 has to be lower than 5.

N3 has to be between 5 and 23.

N5 has to be higher than 23.

But its your money so you get to choose how you want to do it.

ok you can focus on the first two

numbers get it right inside if you get it wrong

simple as that, you need a reference,

and the first two numbers can help,

ex = on 5/39 from 01 to 17 we have 136 doubles

but you can filter to 5%

so if you have 05 14 as the starting pair

can already think of small prizes

So could Johnny Storm. But you know if Johnny swooped in during the draw and melted all the balls except those with your numbers on them.......you might have to answer some very hard questions.

ok i agree it makes sense, in the 49/6 lottery number example you can use the central double

ex = xx 25 38 xx 25.38 is the central duo

or in the example of 5 numbers

hit the center number and the two extremes

ex = x 15 x 36 x where has (x) is the central number

1st and last,

the central number looks without a good reference,

but we have a problem here if you get it right

the central number of the 5 numbers ex = 26

the first two go from 01 to 25 to find the two

Just a thought for you on this. If you start on the center number, wouldn't that give you a better perspective on the lower 2 and the upper 2? I mean, if you're digging a hole, you just start kind of in the center and keep digging until you get the size your looking for. By starting with the center digit, you know then to go up or down on the previous and the post. Starting on the first, you're kind of still at more of a guess on all the remaining post picks.

No...Statistics merely measures what most likely will, or won't occur...it has no effect on what drives the event process that it measures ...just like light at a night baseball game... If the lights go out.. It has no effct on whether or not the baseball may be heading your way.. It merely allows you to SEE that the ball is coming your way...!!
