There is a help file link(help icon image). If you click it, it will show a popup dialog box with link to Help. The help file is also just a HTML page but it has nice screenshots and texts to explain what all it has. What you have mentioned is the first feature that powerball1 asked.

I started expanding what powerball1 asked for as I also needed a wheel application of my own which I was pushing off for a long time.

Hi,

I was able to add option to load, save, erase wheel settings. This will help with favorites. If you have some everyday setting that you start with and then modify or so, you can store it and load any time.

Make sure that you are in the same wheel(Pick N) digit size.

Though it's a small feature it should help save some time...

Features added :

I added an options grid to choose whether you need quotes or not. I am not adding the option to reverse sort to combinations as it might confuse people from looking at the UI pos 0-N from left to right and somewhat different in the output. Help is integrated now. Clicking on help icon will open a dialog box with a link. Clicking the link will open the help html in a new tab or window.

Thanks thamiz i have used it too for the 7 digits to test it and worked like a charm....for the output file is there a way to eliminate the quotes on the numbers? Also the arrangement in descending order using the first digit on the left than the one on the right....i know these are just minor

A Quick update : I used Firefox in Windows 10 and got Pick-8 wheel with 234276 combos and was able to export as CSV.

It's all more of browser and system resources (RAM). Chrome kept showing Wait/Close page dialogue after every 30 seconds or so.

It's better to download all as single zip file from google drive and then extract in local and play around. You can play around with the stylesheet file css/PickNPositionalWheel.css and change the colors just for fun.

To everyone trying out this tool

I tested this on firefox browser on a Samsung phone. This means you can take this wheel TO GO...

Strange that it didnt work on chrome(some setting stopping JS execution)

Just extract the folder and open the HTML file in Firefox for Android. Happy wheeling !!!!

With this in place I will start enhancing it more

The Wheel allows up to 10 numbers per position; but I don't calculate them all at the moment. I generally try to keep the numbers in at least 1 or 2 positions below 5 so that the Wheel can do all of the combinations that are valid.

A number can be in more than 1 position. The wheel eliminates combinations with matching numbers.

My computer died or went into a deep sleep this weekend. I will not know if it is going to come back for a couple of days.

5 numbers per positions and one or two more might work as of now.

I am planning to change the combo creation algorithm.

Export to CSV is already in some of the tools I shared. I will try to provide that.

Here are some screen shots that show how by changing the text box on top, you can switch this tool to pick 1 to pick 6.

pick 1 to pick 6 goes smooth.

Upto pick 5 full wheels even generate fine that's 100,000 combos. So from pick 6 to pick 9 or 10, if you limit the total combos that would come up by using positions 1 to positions n(using few per position) the application might not hang.

Hi,

The application that I shared is written in HTML, CSS, JS. Javascript is main language.

When you extract and open the html page, the application/web page opens up in a browser.

You can change the number of digits by just changing the text box on top.

3 or 4 or 5 or 6 or whatever fits

From what I saw browser hangs when trying to run pick 6 full wheel. But with proper digit selections I was able to get it working for pick 8

I have been using a Position wheel for 5/36 and 5/39 Draws.

My Filters put the Numbers in Each Position. The Wheel combines all of the Numbers by position, Weeds out all of the invalid combinations (Double digits, and Blanks), sorts the numbers from left to right to produce the unique list of combinations. For the Example there are 297 Combinations.

N1 List (3) N2 List (4) N3 List (3) N4 List (3) N5 List (3)

10 02 18 08 20

14 03 25 17 28

24 08 26 23 35

Don't you have a copy of the DMP-MG program, it has a positional string wheel that allows

up to 10 numbers in each position. Picture below shows how to wheel 3 numbers in each

position, click save then run the R-F-W option to generate the lines.
