I know I did a lousy job of explaining above, but here's another example from today where the inflate tool that came in handy. This one also pertains to the Combos Which Have NOT Fallen This Year in Virginia. We have the list, it's this: 079 126 149 006 022 033 088 112 116 117 155 335 338 399 455 599 688 699 000 111 222 333 777 999

The question was, When was the last time these numbers hit?

Oops! I forgot to mention something important about the combo format listing. The first number in each row is always the actual number which was inflated. That's by design. The idea is, when using this chart to do workups, it's very handy to be able to just copy out the first column of numbers knowing that those are the original numbers which were inflated to begin with. I'm actually using that feature right this minute to do a new workup I'm experimenting with and that's what reminded me to mak... [ More ]

There are times when it's really helpful to be able to inflate a list of numbers into all their combos. For example, in the Virginia thread, mswiz777 maintains a list of Combos Which Have NOT Hit This Year. That's a difficult list to double-check without a convenient way to inflate those numbers into their combos. For that reason, I wrote my own inflate tool. Once I had the tool, I found that it opened up the possibility to do other workups of the kind - What combos are missing from this list?
