I would rather watch something more meaningful on Christmas than watch how people spend their money frivolously and throw it away.

From 4 am until noon. PST The final hour 11 am - noon is still To be announced I am betting that it will be another Lottery Changed My Life.

There are at least 24 TV shows talking about and showing celebrities so it's not really a stretch to think the people watching those shows would watch stories about lottery winners and the type of homes they live in. The term hitting the lottery doesn't always mean cashing a lottery jackpot ticket so many of those lottery dream homes owners got their money other ways. It doesn't appear that many folks here follow these lottery-themed shows you watch. But, if you watch these sorts of shows regularly and you want to get others interested in them to spark forum discussions, you should make a thread for summaries and reviews of the episodes you watch. That will drum up interest better than just transcribing the TV Guide schedule every week. We're all capable of looking at the TV Guide. I'm starting to wonder if you work for the cable company.

Coin Toss are you talking about the couple who started dating at age 13. Robynn Newton and his name escapes me. She was an actress in Hollywood and he enlisted in the Navy right after 911. Robynn had a premonition that her California Super Lotto ticket would win and it did. He was honorably discharged and they got married in Hawaii.

There are some lite moments in the video. I did enjoy watching it.

They are successful winners.

I didn't watch a lot of them but one I did see showed one of the smartest jackpot winners ever. He was a very young guy, 22 I think, and won while he was in the Navy. His girlfriend begged him to get out of the Navy so he did.

At one point he said when he saw a car he really liked he'd think, Gee, I could buy that car now with no problem. I could but I'm not going to.

I agree eddessaknight. Money has a long history in many cultures and different nations and societies.

We stand on the shoulders of giants.

For instance, Prime Minister Winston Churchill played the stock market before he was elected PM. He experienced the 1929 Crash. He learned that his destiny was elsewhere. Saving Western Civilization.

These million dollar jackpots revolutionize the winners life even though they say it will not.

Understood. I am learning that flashing your millions in public is not normal. It attracts the wrong types. I do not see very many millionaires giving their personal info. to the public.

Criminals are watching every move that lottery winners make.

Location matters. The winners in Iowa are much safer than big-city dwellers are.
