Good method.

I sometimes go buy jackpot game tickets for my uncle and on the way driving, I would try to call out license plate numbers and if the 2 digits make a number that is in range of the game I'd remember it to play a line of my own..never won yet but it's all in good fun.

Neat method. NASA has millions of digits of e, sqrt(2), and sqrt(3)

https://apod.nasa.gov/htmltest/gifcity/sqrt2.10mil

https://apod.nasa.gov/htmltest/gifcity/e.1mil

https://apod.nasa.gov/htmltest/gifcity/sqrt3.1mil

The only problem with doing a ctrl+F search are the line breaks

Quite often when its on a hot streak. We made it into an Excel sheet so all you have to do is look up your number and read across to get the neighbors. We capped it at 12 neighbors to keep it reasonable. Like all systems it can go cold, but it's warming up again. This week Cali midday ws 597 and 317 hit that evening. 317 is one of the earliest neighbors of 597 in the digits of pi.

This one isn't everyone's cup of tea but it used to be my favorite method. Get a text file with a million dits of pi. Do a search for the last number that hit, might be several instances. Play the three digit numbers on either side of it. Box or straight, whatever you prefer.

You can switch it up using a different irrational number.
