That was the reason I love this Lotterypost website here, people here are nice and trying to help each other out. especially me, I am new to lottery and I learn a lot from you all and again I can not thank you all enough, I feel like you are part of my family here, hope you all have a great weekend.

That issue doesn't arise if you follow Mr B16's instructions and use the replace all feature instead of replacing one by one. The method works perfectly if you actually do what he has written. If you want to go the other direction and put separator characters between every two characters, then yes you will need to write some sort of script or use regex in Notepad++.

Of course, it's always possible that the lottery corrupted your Notepad program when they copied your hard drive and that is why... [ More ]

I've used Windows' Notepad for such operations,.. but sometimes it has problems distinguishing between for example... 22

It sees the two twos in between spaces, ..

If you're making a big wheel, Notepad's cursor jumping to EVERY possible 22 would take hrs, if not days... depending on the format to be changed..

Not familiar with Excel... etc...

Which is why I suggested a macro program... Been there, done that..!

For those who need help with this...

Paste your data into Notepad

From the Notepad Menu, select Edit Replace...

In the Find what section, enter the dash character -

In the Replace with section, make sure it's empty/blank

Click the Replace All button and you should end up with this:

No macro needed. Windows Notepad can do it with the Replace command from the Edit Menu. Replace - with null (blank). Excel and Open Office/Libre Office can also do it without macro.

You'll have to use a macro program to get rid of the dashes, comma, spaces... etc

I just so happened to realize the importance of Window's Recorder from as far back as Windows 3.1, saved it and used it in subsequent Windows OSs...!!

It's very basic, but effective as long as measurements remain consistent..
