A little side note. Chuck Strutt said on the Powerball website that about 70% of tickets sold are QP's. And about 70% of PB jackpot winners are QP's. That seems to be a reasonable statistic. (I have gotten your drift that they know your numbers before the draw, but I always considered Chuck a standup person.) BTW, don't bother looking for that statement, it's not there anymore. It was one of several frequently asked questions that is gone now.

using statistics to predict when you are due a lottery win here is an interesting statistic.

If you buy fifty tickets per week statistically you will win the jackpot once every 5,000 years.

Thus if you bought your first fifty tickets about the time the Egyptians were building the pyramids and have bought your tickets each and every week since you are statistically due for your win soon. That is within the next 100 years.

Fascinating things statistics. That is why bookmakers love them.

Some people play wheeler for more chances to win but must be a group of people to split the price no matter what it is. The person that makes the number is the designer architect to see best outcomes for that game draw. Anybody that has this potential to see the number coming for that drawing day is best to stick with. Of course!! This person must prove it first, no prove no join to the game.

No BS but you still don't believe me. I remember last year holidays I started posting set of numbers just by whatever came in my mind like it's already there and sometimes repeats for some reason in the mind like blends with other numbers like 8/0, 1/7, 2/7, 3/8, 4/9/7/2, 0/8, 6/9/0, 5/9/6/0, by noticing the shape of numbers look alike. When you do mind guessing is more effective but takes lot of meditation to clear thoughts before seeing what's already there but is there already, it's just that... [ More ]

I agree with you, Rick Hunter. Sure, there are ways to play smarter to increase your expected return, like playing jackpot games only when they've rolled over a lot, playing straight instead of box in Pick 3/4 if the box prizes are rounded down. But the numbers are unpredictable and no point frying your brain trying to find patterns or divining due numbers.

As it's been said a million times before, if anyone were actually winning more than they spent, they wouldn't be sharing how it's done... [ More ]

My strategy is that I have commercially available lottery software installed on my laptop, and I use it in combination with wheels. I wheel the numbers I picked with the software.

Over the ten years that I've used it, I've won some second place prizes but never a jackpot. I've won many third place prizes with it. I've won countless Free Plays using it.

i do believe with simple math and great luck at the right times we can get a win here and there..Also while using math don't discount that we are only getting lucky with the help of math. i'm sure there are stories all around to be heard of the people who do win using no math whatsoever and are doing better in winnings than the people that hold high, this after the fact math when it comes to lottery games.

Everybody can be lucky by playing whatever numbers comes into your mind randomly.

Yes, absolutely true and applicable to all the pick games. However, the luck principle is also based on other factors such as the numerical matrix of the said game along with the player's skill level to play the game successfully. The larger the game (more numbers involved), a larger percentage of luck required to win unless you can spend lots of money to cover the bases to win.
