Oh no, that's not a good thing.

MM is my game of choice right now. Granted, this doesn't appear to affect the lower tier prizes but still it's disheartening.

Market is really messing with payouts etc.

MM went from $96M to $101M which is the minimum, but the cash payout option only went from $76M to $76.5M

Tonight it rolled over by $10M from $80M to $90M.. yet the cash option increased by less than it did from $75M to $80M ($4M vs $4.7M).

I'm not sure if it's happened before, but the annuity is always an imaginary amount based on what can be bought with the cash value. Because interest rates got cut between jackpot estimates the size of the annuity that can be bought with a given amount of cash went down.

I've seen that happen before. I may be mistaken , but the annuity amount is determined by current interest rates, or what it would cost to purchase the annuity based on what the cash amount is.

Jackpot rolled over increased by $5M from $70M to $75M

Yet the cash option went from $52.7M to $60.7M.. an increase of $8M
