I'm already pulling away from AorN at this point so the chances of me playing it twice a day are close to zero now. Only one $4 win in a couple months of playing makes it a dud for me. If the ticket price was $1 I would probably keep playing but at $2 a ticket I feel like I'm just throwing money away.

Just came back from Pick N Save and I saw a letter in front of the announcement of the new draws

and it states the 2 draws a day was canceled due to the COVID and would resume at a later date.

I will probably do that or just buy both draws for one day but only do it like twice a week so I can keep track of it easier.

(I've always been partial to twice weekly draws. It's just a personal preference, not sure why.

Quik-Trip is from Tulsa, OK and Kwik Trip is from LaCrosse, WI.

Kwik Trip here you can tell they are really strict with their employees - its like they read a script every time the cashiers interact with you - and they always end on see you next time.

Seems like each employee carries an Ipad around to keep track of all their metrics - always clean though and they seem to pay more than any other gas station around here from theirs signs.

That's fine for now as I'm not anxious to buy 2 draws a day at this point. It's not the money so much as it is having to keep track of the drawings. I know that sounds ridiculous but for some reason I just like having time between drawings. It gives me more time to dream about winning.

I still see lottery signs (at Kwik trip for instance) stating that the twice daily drawings are now going on but when I buy tickets they are only for the regular night drawing. There is no daily option yet. And no one knows what is going on with that. Even the official lottery site is blank.

Well, it doesn't take a genius to figure why they had to change that rule. Here's a real live example.

In Texas, on March 13, 2014, day draw, 11 even numbers were drawn, and 1 odd number. There were 109 tickets that got 11 of 12 right. 129 tickets got 1 of 12 right. So, 238 tickets each was worth $500. If that one odd number had been even, 238 tickets would have each been worth $250,000. Texas has never had a 20 digit All or Nothing game. They have never cancelled All or Nothing. The game is a 24 digit game. They did suspend play at one time years ago because they realized hundreds of players were playing the 1st 12 or last 12 numbers, and all even, or all odd numbers, which if such numbers were drawn the lottery would have to pay out an astronomical amount of money. Ultimately, they changed the rules that if there are more than 20 jackpot winners, payouts would be pari-mutuel,

Tennessee actually has only one 3-ball/4-ball a day on Sundays.

D.C. was the first state to do daytime drawings; they started on 11/09/1992 Monday-Saturday (D.C. was also the first state to do midday drawings on Sundays, but that did not happen until 02/13/2000). Delaware was the second (05/18/1993), followed by Illinois (12/20/1993), Virginia (01/30/1995), and Maryland (05/01/1995).

The playslip or electronic terminal will have a box for you to check DAY, NIGHT or BOTH. (I grew up in Virginia, which was one of the first states to have daytime drawings).

Are the day drawings going to be held on Sundays as well? There are some states that do them only Monday-Saturday, but most of them are in the South.

B5 would grow fast a lot faster and they would sell lots of tickets - only an upside to doing it.

Pick 3/Pick 4 in Georgia/Tennessee is Cash 3/Cadh4. They have had 3 drawings a day for years now. Except through on Sunday, Tennessee has two drawings.

Geogis has front pair and back pair on the 3 digit game. And 1-off option.

Tennesse has the Sums option.

Georgia recently cancelled All or Nothing as I discovered a few days ago and no paper slips.

BTW, I'm confused why they don't offer Supercash and Badger 5 twice daily? That makes no sense. The cost of running the RNG balls for these games can't possibly be a factor.

If you fill out play slips there will be a place to mark midday, evening or both.

If you don't use play slips you can tell the clerk which drawing you want. Just make sure you check your tickets to be sure you got the right drawing.

As with anything new, there will be a learning curve and mistakes will be made.

I mean even if Badger 5 was 2 times a day, and a decent jackpot was won 2/3 times a week - I would think the state wouldn't be losing out on it - it only grows in relation to ticket sales.

I don't understand why they aren't doing Badger 5 for the daily draws as it's clearly very popular. Someone wins it every couple days. But maybe the lottery doesn't want to pay out that often if they double the draws? It's parimutual and grows quickly. What other reason could there be?

As for AorN, I would play it if it wasn't $2 a draw. I don't mind the game structure, and it can be fun, but the jackpot needs to be higher and/or parimutual to get my money on a regular basis at that ticket p... [ More ]

I will say - besides it being a more expensive ticket for a smaller jackpot prize - it is a fun game.

With the Badger 5 being the best ticket odds at 1:169,xxx, All or Nothing is 2nd.

If they did Badger 5 at 2 draws a day those jackpots would grow really fast - I was surprised to see no one won last night - now its $143,000.

I wish the WI All or Nothing was like Texas in terms of jackpot size - $2 ticket (now to be twice a day) for only $100,000 is not as exciting.

If it was like the $250,000 Texas had I would be much more enthusiastic - then again the Texas odds are 1 in 2,704,156 vs Wisconsin odds are 1 in 705, 432 - so what's worse? Haha

Well at least the WI lottery has given us use of those fabulous vending machines that don't give change nor do they allow you to pick your own numbers or even the ability to choose multiple draws. I saw the sign for this awhile back. I don't see a problem with Pick 3 or 4 but I don't know who is going to play All or Nothing twice a day at $2 a play. I'm sure some people will play it but it's definitely not for me.
