If it rolls til Friday it will have tied the record for rolls. If it rolls to next Tuesday it will have broken the record for the most number of rolls it has ever had

I went back through the Texas Lottery records to 2009. The above link shows from 3/11/16 - 7/8/16 that this jackpot run rolled 34 times. The big run of 1.6 billion hit after the 25th rollover.

If you go to usamega.com (link on the side bar) you can see the jackpot histories for Megamillions and Powerball. Count the number of drawings between jackpot resets. Kenny's guess might be right.

The largest Mega Millions jackpot, $1.537 billion, was won on October 23, 2018 by one ticket, sold in South Carolina.

this was 25 draws since the last time it was won previous when it was $500+- million.

Not sure if 25 draws is the record - but this is the biggest jackpot so would think it would be close
