Yes, I believe that the CA lottery's RNG machines are not communicating with a central computer. There's no need for them to communicate for the purposes of cheating. Our payouts are pari-mutuel, so the lottery can never lose money no matter how many or how few winners there are.

Not that I feel unsafe, but maybe that sentence is a few words longer than necessary. Right now LP is storing a bit over 26 MB of data in my cookie folder. All of the incarnations of Google and YouTube combined are storing less than half of that.

Isn't the central computer the one that creates the RNG winning numbers after all the ticket terminals are closed?

Yes, that's what I'm saying. They are not linked. My first message already indicated in great detail that the lottery terminal where you buy the tickets is the one generating the quick picks, not a central computer.

No, computerized drawings are not better for players. Quite the opposite. Computerized drawings hurt players through the numerous glitches we have documented over the years, causing countless numbers of lottery tickets to have zero chance of winning. So your saying there is absolutely no way these two computers can communicate with each other.

Next question then would be is the central computer not connected in any way to the RNG computer that creates the winning numbers or are they one and the same?

If they are then that answers my question. (Control)

The videos of two separate computers does not prove anything. Computers do talk to each other.

Before Calottery changed its website for the worse, there was a video posted that showed the set up and procedure for generating the official drawing results with an RNG. As I recall, it showed two computers not connected to the internet or to each other, and every drawing one of them was randomly selected to run the RNG program. Is there away to prove that the winning numbers being produced by the RNG computers are not being influenced in any way by the computers that are giving out the purchased ticket numbers? Other words are they totally independent????

Higher Jackpots means more tickets being sold. Bigger profits!!!!!
