According to lottoreport .com there were about 25.5 million tickets sold for Saturday's drawing. In 2020 that was about normal for jackpots in the $300 million range, and about 2.5 times as many as for a typical starting jackpot.

Powerball sold over 100 second prize winners one time when people used a popular fortune cookie numbers some years ago so 43 is not the record.-weshar75

I just noticed the SAME thing!! Only thing I can figure is many people played both last Wednesday Saturday games, so there were alot of 'extra' people playing on a 20mil jackpot.

Or maybe its just the obvious - ALL CALENDAR numbers
