Well, I was an IDIOT and played 228 in advance for a week on Sunday. with NO fireball. I was hoping that 228 box would come up and I decided to not spend the extra $7 for Fireball... Lo and behold, 182 showed up with a Fireball of 2... OH NO! :( I lost out on what could have been like $70! :( Should have just sprung for that extra $7! :( Always play the Fireball if you have the extra money....

Awesome that you're seeing success with the Fireball! Good to keep in mind that Fireball wins are different amounts than normal payouts, but you can win multiple Fireball prizes on the same ticket. On the Florida Lottery Results page, if you click the Prizes/Odds link next to the results you will see both the regular and Fireball prizes.

And..... The ticket is a WINNER, but it is NOT the $324 I thought it was. It is only $200. Ouch! Thank God I didn't mention which bill I would pay if I won. I have two bills and promise to God to pay off the lesser bill today.

Fireball is confusing, which is how that guy thought he won, but actually lost by one number. Hmm. Last week or so, I chose 873 box, and 377 came up with Fireball 8, so I got $34. :) Florida Lottery Website says a STRAIGHT with Box 3 numbers (2 numbers are the same, one is different like 228 ;) is $330 for a .50 play, and a Fireball replacing a number is minus $6 (I got $34 for what would have normally been a $40 payout), so the 8 replacing the 7 in 227 should be a $324 payout for me IF I got th... Ur paper must have the exact numbers......like in order to get the 228....you must play 228

If you play 282/822 etc,. Since its an extra and its a BONUS play only 1 ways will count and its how they match them up so you would only win with having it 228

So, 227 showed up as Florida Pick 3. I was feeling REALLY disappointed that I did not play 227 as just yesterday, I was grooving to 227 Sitcom Theme Song. :D I briefly thought, 227 is also a Pick 3 number, maybe should play it tomorrow.
