			<description><![CDATA[<p>Unfortunately that method loses coherence for negative inputs. OP wants a function that returns 3 when the input is 2-9 . When you run the =RIGHT() formula it returns 7 rather than 3. =MOD(~~~,10) returns the correct result.</p>]]></description>

If you want the answer in the cell c1, you could type this formula in the cell c1:<br /><br />=mod(($a$1+$b$1),10) for addition<br /><br />or<br /><br />=mod(($a$1-$b$1),10) for subtraction<br /><br />There is more than one way do this.</p>]]></description>
