I noticed that Megamillions only went up 2 million after last night's draw, so maybe play isn't back to normal.

I wouldn't hold my breath. Whenever the government says: We are temporarily raising your taxes or temporarily reducing the jackpot prize because of ... , don't believe it. Chances are that they are still making a killing. Unless people protest and reduce their playing amounts, I don't see them raising the Jackpot back up.

I would agree that the lotteries need to start addressing this issue. There should be some kind of firm date or milestone that will trigger the restoration of the $40 million starting jackpots. Seems to me that sales are pretty much back to normal.

So when will the lottery increase the prizes back to $40 million for both the Mega Million and the Powerball? They said they decreased it due to people not playing during pandemic. Seems like they are since the Jackpot reached over $700 million for one and $1 billion on the other.
