Repeating numbers is a feature on my list at least, 90% of ALL states have repeat numbers on a regular basis, and two numbers even, not just one...ha!

The best thing about the pick-3 is that at least, one number will repeat from the previous draw about 60-75% of the time...

Let's put our minds together and create our own retirement plan that breaks the orbit...HA!

I'm just looking at some probability calculation for 1/10 and 10 drawings.

The chance that exactly one digit is drawn twice? 27%. The chance that a digit is drawn twice? 19%. 10*0.19. We can look further into all this and see drawings not fitting the chances? That is the first digit of a-b-c pick 3 where 0 = a and a = 9.

Your chance is 1 / 10 or p(1/1) = 0.1.

You want a technique to solve a 1 out of 10 lotto.

p = 1/10 and q = 9/10.

The question was posted earlier. The responses are none or not to the point.

You rather get q than p and if you have 1 right in 10, your budget is half.

What can you do? You raise the bet, that works, but you must be right on time or you lose

At least 1 of these pairs will play in every 120 P3 single 6 way combo.

06 39 17 04 28 24 02 35 13 46

15 48 26 59 37 79 57 08 68 19

Using lottery math, Sum the pairs up.

6 12 8 4 10 6 2 8 4 10

6 12 8 14 10 16 12 8 14 10

Reduce above pairs to value of digit on the right of sum.

6 2 8 4 0 6 2 8 4 0

Make these conversions to the above values.

6=1 2=2 8=3 4=4 0=5 6=1 2=2 8=3 4=4 0=5

Track pairs this way..

If you want to get straights, keep track of which position the lowest number of any combo hits.

Make a chart. Pos 1 Pos 2 Pos 3

Wherever the lowest digit hits (no matter what it is) put an X in that position. Ex 685. X goes goes in Pos 3. 512 X goes in Pos 2. 378 X goes in Pos 1. 774 X goes in Pos 3. 447. X goes in Pos 1 2.

When you play, decide what position you want to use for the lowest digit. Put the other digits in the other two positions. From the post above, say you like the 1 i... [ More ]

85 out of 120 P3 single combos have 0 or 1 or 2 as the lowest digit. Pick one of the three.

(21 combos have 0-1-2 as a pair).

Say you like the 1, now pick the second digit. Say you like the 8.

Make pairs with the remaining digits, 38-48-58-68-78-89. Add the 1 to each pair.

6 combos to play.

Say you like the 9 also. Same thing. 39-49-59-69-79-89. Add the 1. Now you have 12 combos to play. Or you can reduce it if you want.

Not cheap to do, but play all 10 numbers for the first one.

If you feel a double is about to fall, play all 10 digits for the 2nd number...

11x

22x

33x

44x

and so on.

Or.....

1x1

2x2

3x3

and so on.

Then maybe play whatever number that has been out for a few draws and is due to fall for the 3rd number.

2nd digit hits about 59 percent of the time. The third digit using this train of thought only comes out around 37 percent of the time so you half to flip it and wind up with around 96 possible selections. Now to filter out the 96

Been thinking about this one just recently, I get these wisps of quality thoughts every once in a while. It's a take on an old system that I thought of.

So much energy goes into solving the whole problem at once, instead of taking it apart and re-assembling it piece by piece.
