Some state only tax $5000 and higher here in Oregon they take 8% at $1500 and no federal until $5000.-weshar75

So I have an update, as I stated I validated a winning ticket, in the amount of $1,568.00 on September 01 2021 and I received a check today September 15 2021 So it only took two weeks to receive a winnings check. Now the only thing I'm wondering is why was no tax taking out.

I agree, but it's been two weeks so I'm checking the mail hoping it will be much sooner than 6 weeks. I remember before covid it was said to take two weeks for a payment.

Six weeks seems REALLY excessive. That's the same time a Woman who won MILLIONS had to wait. You only won $1568, NOT Millions...

I just validated a winning ticket NJ Cash5 which I won on June 23 2021, $1568.00 but I just sent it in on Sept 1. They say it takes up to 6 weeks to process, and for you to get a check. I was wondering if anyone have any story's to tell about waiting on a check. I will update my time stamp on receiving my winning.
