The combo you played, 1264 is a 24-way box because it has no identical digits or 4 unique digits. Looks like you just read the first example on the NY Lottery site.

That's good advice on not trusting the cashier. I always say the amount, as in, Can you cash a $500 winner?

Two things happen. They know, that you know how much it is, and it gives them a chance to see if they have the cash before they scan the ticket.

To really be safe, tell them you want a receipt. If the date/time on the receipt doesn't match the actual time right then, you know you are being cheated.

That is only for 4 digit number 1333 with 3 identical example x333 what you have is 4 unique digits and they go by the way you marked your ticket.

A 24 way box 1234 pays $100 for .50 bet Odds 1:416.67

A 12 way box 1123 pays $200 for .50 bet Odds 1:833.33

A 6 way box 1122 pays $400 for .50 bet Odds 1:666.67

A 4 way box 1112 pays $600 for .50 bet Odds 1:2,500

$1.00 box bet doubles the payouts. Keep in mind anything won over $600 is subject to taxes.

hey question, I played 50c box yesterday and I won yesterday with 1264, but hse said i only get $100. But on new york lottery website its saying i was supposed to get $600 or am i wrong ?
