You are right GiveFive, that is my point here, to not play tickets that have won withing the last year.

I don't think there's a strategy in playing repeat sets of five winners.

Here's why -

On September 14th (the last time a duplicate set of five jackpot winning numbers was drawn) these numbers came out === 2 17 18 28 35. That set of five numbers was previously drawn on September 24th, 2006. There were 4 Fantasy5 jackpot winners on Sept 14th, but all 4 of them were QP's. It's happened 62 times in all 7,385 Fantasy5 drawings.

The only interesting thing I can see about it is in 2021, five... [ More ]

Or more so not playing combinations that have won in the year.

Good research maxodds. Never gave it much thought, but maybe theres actually a strategy in playing repeats in Fantasy 5.

I never intentionally play a set of winning five numbers that have won a jackpot in the past, but I'm sure I've inadvertently done it. Might have even received a QP that was a duplicate set of a past set of five. G5

Of 7381 Florida Fantasy Five drawings 63 have won twice with only one returning in the same year. That is the drawing below which returned a little over 4 months.

This tells me that drawings aren't likely to repeat within a year or so. So far, none has won three times. Here are the remaining double winners below.
