For the wheels, at some point you get the understanding of how they work. You can play 15 different numbers in 3 lines for pick 5 that has a 2/5 payout. Low coverage but it can win too. Amos didn't have any pick 12 wheels, so he joined pick 6 wheels as shown on his website. SL didn't and doesn't have pick 12 wheels, the filter also doesn't do both ends coverage. So, SL in cases is more expensive. ...

The basic idea of her bias is when you're get too many of one thing look for a change to the other side.

If the sum goes high look for it to go low.

If you see too many even, play more odd.

Yep. Said before mine was a dismal failure. Easy to get the data, and determine what data you wan to used, but then you write the decision tree.

That's where things get tricky.

I thought Markov chains would help, but there are too many IF/THEN possibilities unless you severely limit the data. So a hierarchy of useful data is pretty much a key.

Looks pretty good for the overall width/gap, or whatever term you use for the total space between N1 and N4 in a 4/35.

Overall the larger gaps/widths hit more and stay out less. LNARO (longest in a row tells how many times the gap count repeated) and CNARO is how many times the current gap has repeated.

I did chart the gap vs the sum. Its 130 by 34 or about 100,000 blocks of data. Far too large to fit in a post. But....

I see why gap would be useful. In a 4/35 the largest sets only have 72 combinations. Many have less than ten. And the average gap vs sum is 30 total combinations. No sum accounts for more than 2% of the total gaps in 4/35.

Its a nice tool. And the cool thing is you can eliminate combinations that have already hit making the cost lower.

If We use one or many softwares to show trends, projections, elimination/inclusion techniques and then come up with 1/6 th of the numbers for upcoming game, We can put it to a new type of test.

For example for Powerball if I choose 13 numbers and ask a person in my household to choose 13 numbers randomly, the end matching result will be closer.

I have seen people choosing 5 number randomly and have 1 winning number in their selection without looking at drawing history.

The more I think about gaps, the more the squirrel in me says we should be looking at relationship data. Most everything we use has an effect on other elements of the set.

There has to be more than setting up everything on a bias where we project the draw to do the opposite of what the bias tells us. That method is an automatic loss every time the bias doesn't correct with our projection.

When we take a step back and look at statistical lottery software, they all give us the same data, and they all fail the majority of the time. I still think for the most part they weren't designed for daily or every draw play. Not sure something could be designed for that.

The chart is within 2% for the 4/35.

She set the midpoint at 72, overall the game is at 71.9x% (that is with all pretests).

If you take the totals of her sum range (51-93) it shows 72.307% of the total matrix.

Using her sum range (in the game) we hit 71.86% of all draws.

Just doing a visual count I came across 33 times each span was the same.....111....222...333....444....555...666....666....777....888.....999....10 10 10 and 11 11 11 (after that the total Gap goes to 36 and is too high).

So 33 times in 10700 draws brings us to 0.003 or a likelihood of 1 in 300 draws.

I don't see how you're equating your sets....

Taking the distance between position 1 and 2, 2 and 3, 3 and 4, and 4, 5 with a total Gap the distance between 1 and 5.

If 1,2,3,4,5 = 1,1,1,1 = 4

Then:

2,5,10 = 3,5

1,3,5 = 2,2

2,3,5 = 1,2

Some good points, but if I take the minimum 528 sets that equal 34 there is no way to cover all 528 sets with 35 do... [ More ]

Yes, you are right. All 3 gaps based on the 4 balls in sorted order will have equal occurence.

What I highlighted is how to arrive at min and max value for these. And showed how it's same for all position.

Sorted order first to nth gap is called as line width or total width or simply width of the combination. Pick style players use the term line width.

For a mathematician: (2 5 10 ...) would be (1 3 5 ...) or (2 3 5 ...). If you have abs(N5-N1), and you play all of them, then one of the sets has two correct key numbers. Let's say that the range takes 5 numbers for pick 5, then you can play them all for 35 dollars with 1-39 pick 5. Seeing that you did details, I suppose that you want to combine the range and the differences.

That'z why itz so-called Smart Picks are usually wrong, or overlooked..which amountz to PotLuck decision makin..as in...throw all da numberz into the numerical soup, then , stir'em up, let simmer under low Probability heat..which iz why the job nevah consistently gitz DONE..

I think she used to call them things to avoid... I don't think some of these filters are embedded in her software... However they do seem to pan out, in the games I play in Cali and Mo, statistically...

Have you tried any of Gail's _additional filters_ that Used To appear on her free tips web page? I wonder if they appear in any of her books?

Things like the notorious 1 2 3 4 5 6, Multiples, Groups and Last Digits...

I was rereading the wheels section to see if she associated specific charts to wheels.

Doesn't seem to be anything that stands out.

One thing that did stand out is in the FAQ. Someone has sent her letter saying they used System #1102, had all six numbers, and didn't win the jackpot. They want their money back.

Her response is every time she receives one of these gotcha letters, the player is using one of her Power Wheels and missed the Power number. She goes on to point... [ More ]

The data on the sheet is to long for the sql. One might filter and sort on creation.

The filter doesn't do it anymore with functions.

They created a filter function. Binary boolean.

I'm more of a T-person. 3 years of that. - I can't have onion soup and alike, but love soup. Fresh cream of young tender leek. A consomm is best for me, but prefer what I cannot eat. Taking longer than expected. But that's okay. Gives me time to look at files I forgot and wonder why I kept some, or what the purpose was for others. Some have me wondering where my head was. But the ones I hate most I forgot to write headers for and have no idea what the columns to the right mean. Automatic deletes they are.

A little green tea or coffee is good. Gatorade and soda is a no. One has too much phosphorous, the other too much potassium. Bad for my kidneys.

Ticket prices are probably one of the main reasons for the lottery making more money.

Doesn't mean they are selling more tickets, just fleecing the players who are willing to spend that kind of money.

Its pretty well accepted that people in small towns were more likely to win the smaller games due to the number of tickets sold in their area.

So some days I think of that and rather spend a $1 to win $40, than $2 and win my money back on a bonus ball. LOL

I compared the top prizes for Lotto America and Lucky for life to that of powerball and megamillions. And then compared the ticket prices to odds of winning.

Less ticket price lesser jackpot and higher ticket price larger jackpot. Starting and experimenting with small number set games with 2x tickets is good to see a winning ticket in hand(be it 4/5, 5/5

Now here I am thinking the rest of the day I'm going to take the things I saw in 4/28 and apply them to 4/35 and see what comes up.

The main reason I never bought the book prior was due to reading what people here had to say about it.

And when I finally do, I'm surprised how much of what we read here is in it.

My oldest GH book (soft paper covers) 117 pages 1988 marked 4th edition. There is no mention of software. Came with a plastic slide to write all the wheel's numbers on to move down the jackpot trap wheel pages to create the combinations. The last two pages were an ad for Harvard Square Wheeling Tools. First thing I noticed about the software was how closely it followed the book and later how the Master Guide was also close.

Smart Picks ?, unfortunately are not something that SLAG is so smart at pointin out ..I've noticed that more often than not , it misses viable numbers that Probability Math NEVA misses..

It acts more like a Numerical Chicken , with NO head OR, itz head chopped auwfph..

It'z good at keepin track ov alotta data.. but no true, sound decision making process, to arrive at immutable Prediction resultz..
