They usually run over cats. Not only once, but several times to flatten them.

I saw seagulls sticking on locomotives at the coast. There was a strong rotten fishy smell.

I just throw a few handfuls of bird seed, peanuts, and bread on the ground. There is even a bowl of water for 'em. They can eat whatever they want. I've seen a fox and a couple of deer come by at night too.

I even had a squirrel eating peanuts out of hand. But that one hasn't been around for a year or two. Probably got ran over.

We got buzzards all over the place here. Last summer a deer fell down the side of the ridge and she must have broke her neck. She breathed her last while I was checking her out and the buzzards had her stripped clean in about two and a half days. They start at the rear end (yes, right there) and then go to the belly and work their way forward. Very efficient birds. Road kill is cleaned up in no time around here. I saw one eatin' a skunk on the road today.

Yeah, I got deer up the ying yang, turkeys, rabbits, squirrels. I can hunt out the window from where Im sittin' now. Had a wild hog come through, got to fightin' with one of my dogs. Never saw another one. Had a giant elk right outside my window here and believe it or not, a bison down the holler a little ways. He escaped from a game preserve. We've been seeing Turkey Vultures, holy cow those are big birds. The Deer population has exploded here so the animal food chain is alive and well.

Love to watch em all do what they do, you can learn a lot.

I hate spiders, but they are amazing.

Cats do a lot of swooping out here too.

Had a feral cat who would climb out on tree limb and wait for a bird to fly by. Then he would launch himself.

Poor bird never saw it coming. A few times it was crash and burn but more often he'd land on his feet, bird in mouth.

Very true, the squirrels do what they do, your neighbor should have just left them some food.

I don't feed the animals myself, but I do know in the circle of life the Hawk will swoop down and get the squirrel, you neighbor just has to wait.

You mainly open your mouth, put your hand on the chin and pull it down.

The advanced grip in in the mouth and pull the chin forward.

That's against arthritis. I stopped after the first exercise.

Some put things in their mouth to not be able to close it for a while.

Combinations and numbers as atomic parts. Big combinations greater than the pick size are mostly not considered. Same for other specialities.

Commercial software mainly focuses on single numbers and simple groups or some patterns.

They used to eat rabbits, hare, cats, dogs, snails, frogs, hedgehogs, bugs, humans (father in law to dug out, or ...), ..., anything.

We ran out of mammoths and dodos. I never had roasted or smoked koala.

I heard that seagulls are not good food. Same for swans. The little birds are better. Pigeons are fine.

Squirrel is among the Gray Meat group all of America will be enjoying soon including sea gull, rat, armadillo and opossum. Take care though, I hear they are high in cholesterol.

Your Neighbor was up against a formidable opponent. These little guys are indeed focused. You could say the same if they just stood under the nuts and jumped up and down, but they are constantly trying to solve the next piece of the puzzle. Each one learns from the other until the entire group makes their way to the prize.

Maybe LP needs a Squirrel Squad.

What is the best way to cook squirrel?

Heat half an inch of your favorite oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry each side of the squirrel for 10-12 minutes with the lid on the pan to help soften it up. Once the meat is brown and cooked, place them on a warm tinfoil covered plate until you make the gravy.

Strangely, the squirrel meat was compared with pretty much every other meat. Tastes like chicken came the inevitable response from a few people, but others said it was a bit like pork or even compared it to lamb .

On a side note, I once had a problem with squirrels grabbin' all my walnuts as soon as they hit the ground. I have since learned that walnuts are a nice finishing touch for Squirrel Fricassee.
