Still tinkering with my median worksheet. I've had 3 of 5 twice in the last 4 nights. Tonight, a big fat zero. I'm always watching different excel videos on youtube. I found this one that used the frequency formula. So I stayed up until 3am figuring a way to use it in my worksheet. Check this out. This formula counts how far back each of the current counts goes back. For example look at number 3 on the left side at the top. Three 4 counts hit and created a 555 part of pattern. This was from 7 numbers. 4's to 55 is 3.9% below the median after this draw. A definite play next time there are 7 four counts.

My data goes back 928 draws as of right now. I've seen examples from the past in which losing or winning stretches occur and the hit percentages before these stretches were well below or above the median. I say, ok, that made sense. +4% and it lost the next 8 of 9 draws. Now it's +1.5%.

The question I would have is.. How much history are you using to determine the median percent? That median percent may look different at 30 games than it would at say 100 games of history.

A single 4 to 5 count hit again. Final pattern was 12345. Five different counts hit. A tough one to come up with. I'll keep playing for a double or triple hit when the count for 4-5's is seven.

Still plugging away at this crazy game. Data crunching never stops. Here's my 2 cents for tonight's (2-10-22)rolling cash five. The 4's to 55 or 4's to 555 is my play tonight for a part of the pattern. Look in row 1 over to the 4 to 55, then move your eyes two more columns. The median % is .20...which is 20%. Current hit rate is 16.5%. So hit rate is 3.48% below the median. This is the largest negative number from all the counts. I just look for hit rates that sooner or later will need a correct... I dealt with the corrupt file all week and then went back and deleted my last two dated entries. Somehow the file repaired itself and I'm back in business. I'm going to save a copy of specific worksheets from the main worksheet every day with no links. So if it happens again, I still have the old data.

It is difficult to say which is easiest to learn, for you... Mathematica alpha is an online demonstration system you can test out for free... R is also free and is used by scientists, statisticians and financial analysts around the world... There are lots of free and open development environments available like Pharo, Lua, Lisp, Closure and Haskell to name a few... Which one is the easiest to learn? I just learned excel over the past three years. I actually looked at a matlabs book last week at the bookstore. Didn't pull the trigger. I say to myself, I'll hit a jackpot first using my excel data, before it crashes..Quit my job and then learn something completely new. Rolling cash five is up to 250K tonight (at least 150k take home). That would be enough to say adios after 35 years at the same job.

There are things like mathematica and matlab as well as R and a number of other tools designed for statistics... Google is your frenemy...

What else could you do? Write in a language (VB, C#) code with literal VBA and let it run after compiling. Or you use another language with a plug and write to Excel when running the compiled code. What else? A text file with code and some extension on your desktop ore elsewhere? ... What else? VBS in the browser? ...

Save an Excel file as TEMPLATE. After this link Excel to the TEMPLATE as ADDON. Immediately type next VBA in the VBE-window of that TEMPLATE. Save.

Things like spooking are that you find templates on your computer that you never wrote yourself and that are total bs. It's a computer and the other a network, so you never know.

If the New file contains a lot of changes, save it as with a version number. Then open the old file with the macros. Transfer the changes from the new file to the Old. It could just need a draw data update, but if you changed any cells, you need to transfer those also.

That's exactly what I did. I opened up an older file and all the macros were there. My new file won't save if I make any changes. I just left it open as of last night. I tried to repair it. That didn't solve the problem.

I opened up my excel worksheets today and for some reason my macros were gone.

If you save a File in the wrong format, I think it is .xls instead of .xlsm the macros will not be in the saved file. However your old file with the macros should still be there.

If it was something else, Maybe it was the Lotto $pooks.

Yeah, I know..Those days nothing hit. So the 55 of 131 stays the same for the next five draws. The hit and median percentages stay the same also. I know what you're going to say. The median is supposed to be from only wins. It's pretty close the same doing a running median vs wins only. Some counts got off to a red hot start or ice cold start. You have several running AVG or SUM or COUNT ... . You can do Last X, or you can do starting line 1 to current line, or you can ... ... .

Ohio rolling cash five 5/39 game. This is of no use if you don't track counts. Just something I put together to see what the median + or - was from all hits, not just the last draw. If one is debating on whether to play 1,2 or 3 numbers from a specific count. This could point you in the right direction. Randomness can still squash all logic. It often does. But a single or double hit from the same count can only hit so much. Each has to have it's fair share in the long run.

I've tracked the last draws median percentage and not any farther back. So I decided to create a worksheet that showed a running median percentage and running hit rate. Then subtracted the two. Hit rate minus median percentage. Positive number means hit rate is higher than median...Negative number means hit rate is lower than median.
